This morning we went to the Forbidden City and Tianamen Square. Our tour guide was telling us that we would only see 1/4th of the Forbidden City and we were walking through and I thought to myself, "This is great! I'm seeing a different fourth than I did in January; how cool." Not true.. Last time I went in the North gate and out the South; this time I went in the South gate and out the North. It's amazing how different it looks going "backwards".
After the Forbidden City and Tianamen Square a bunch of us were craving McDonalds- so we caved in and went. We figured we are here for 3.5 months... we have PLENTY of time to eat Chinese food. The McDonalds in China is always packed, so we all got our food and sat outside and ate it... all the Chinese people just looked at us like we were crazy as they walked by.

When we got back to our dorm from McDonalds I took a nice long 4 hour nap. When I woke up I went to dinner with Laura and Katie. Then came back and "studied" for our placement test for about fifteen minutes- I hope its not impossible!
Now I am finally going to sleep! Today was the worst day of jetlag. I hope tomorrow is better.
